New Year's Eve party at the Brandenburg Gate 2024

Music, stars and entertainment: This year, a lavish party will once again take place at the Brandenburg Gate at the turn of the year.

The New Year's Eve party at the Brandenburg Gate was considered one of the largest New Year's parties in the world in the past. A special highlight is the spectacular fireworks display at midnight. It is not yet known whether and in what form the New Year's Eve party will take place in 2024. According to initial information, the celebration will have capacity for around 65,000 people this year. Further information on admission, program and capacity will follow shortly after the event.

Party mile on June 17th with Ferris wheel
The event area between the Victory Column and the Brandenburg Gate is around 2.5 kilometers long. Around 90 food trucks and other gastronomic offerings from all over the world will be available on the party mile. A 33-meter-high Ferris wheel will also be set up. You are not allowed to bring your own food or alcoholic beverages.

Tickets for the New Year's Eve party at the Brandenburg Gate have been available since November 14, 2024. Regular tickets for the party cost 20 euros. Those interested must decide on a place to participate when purchasing tickets: Those who primarily want to watch the stage program should choose the "Platz des 18. März / Lindenrondell" area. Those who would rather ride the Ferris wheel and party at the mood islands will find what they are looking for on Straße des 17. Juni. This security fee will be used to finance the security concept, among other things.

Participating artists and bands 2024/2025
On stage will be Nemo, Peter Schilling, Maite Kelly and Sarah Engels, among others. World champions from the Pyronale will provide the fireworks. A cooperation with the Festival of Lights promises artistic illuminations.

«Welcome 2025»: ZDF broadcasts live
At 8:15 p.m. on December 31st, ZDF will broadcast the live show «Welcome 2025» directly from the New Year's Eve celebration at the Brandenburg Gate. The show will be hosted by Andrea Kiewel and Johannes B. Kerner. The broadcast ends at 0:45 a.m.

Security and entry controls
For security reasons, personal checks will be carried out at the entrance again this year. Fireworks of any kind are strictly prohibited. All pointed and sharp objects, as well as objects that can be used as weapons, are also not allowed into the event area. The same applies to larger backpacks and bags, glass containers and cans, as well as selfie sticks and professional camera and sound equipment.
