Samhain Rave - Embrace the Darkness
Possibly the biggest festival of the Witches’ year, Samhain is a time to remember those who have passed on. It is one of the two "spirit-nights" and was considered as the division between the end of the lighter summer and the beginning of the darker winter. A magical interval when the laws of time and space are temporarily suspended, and the Thin Veil between our and the spirit world is lifted. It is a time to study the Dark Mysteries and honor the Dark Mother and the Dark Father, symbolized by the Crone and her aged Consort. The other world was easily enlisted at this time, so in the increasing moonlight of longer nights, many honed their psychic and divinatory abilities.
