3hd Festival 2016: There is no time! Let it go

3hd Festival presents a late-night closing party at Berlin’s OHM on October 15, with DJs and producers who understand fun, speed and tempo. ‘There is no time! Let it go!’ shouts the event title, feverishly referencing the Disney computer-animated musical fantasy film and global meme.

Performing on the night are New Jersey-born vocalist and producer Uniiqu3 with hard-hitting mutations of bass music, classic hip-hop and RnB, as well her own live cuts. Berlin-based North Carolinian artist DJ Paypal, among the most influential members of footwork scene-leading Teklife crew. New York-based producer DJ NJ Drone locks his listener into the solitary and meditative space of the club environment with a collage of found-sounds, synths, and sound design. Berlin-based producer Bonaventure (aka Soraya Lutangu) connects her African and European roots in brooding noise and drone of tracks that dig into the dark depths of human motivation. New York-based DJ, event curator, producer and Purple Tape Pedigree label boss Geng carries on the ‘bootledit’ tradition of hip hop and club track combinations that build on and bury their sometimes violent political undertones.
