Tonight Vince Watson returns to the Globus frontline to present his regular Radio Drama night. Mr. Watson is an electronic music producer, DJ and live performer from Glasgow, Scotland, now living in Amsterdam Netherlands. His recordings on Planet E, Biomusic and Tresor Records – among many others – attest to the talent of this modern electronic DJ. Invited into tonight’s fold is UK artist Jamie Odell aka Jimpster who has been producing, remixing and DJing for the last 19 years and co-running his Freerange Records (voted Best British Label 2007) label for the last 15 of those. His musical upbringing and early introduction to production and DJing have helped him forge a sound that is at once warm and deep as well as being innovative and also club friendly. Also on the decks: of Polish and Egyptian origin, Magda El Bayoumi. Musically always open, Magda tends to oscillate between techno and different house sub-genres, good classic or fresh and new sound techno, house or versatile electronic productions – the name of her game for is quality. The Tresor Floor rumbles and roars with the injection of some UR spirit tonight: DJ Skurge is one of Underground Resistance’s most trusted and proficient producer/DJ sound snipers. A soldier who earned his stripes DJ’ing for the tough East side Detroit “Cabaret” crowd, DJ Skurge also gained the respect of UR’s Mad Mike due to his deep knowledge of music history as it relates to the dance floor. Australian Sebastian Bayne, a pioneer for electronic dance music in Beijing and mainland China, also graces the Tresor decks tonight with his unique take on Techno which is gaining him more support with each day. Also on board is Argentian DJ and Detroit-inspired Rodrigo Garcia, as well as Spanish artist Regal.
