Portable’s live set from last February was definitely one of our many highlights this year. Whether his releases on Perlon, Live At Robert Johnson and his label Süd Electronic that he co-runs with Tamo Sumo and where an incredibly impressive percussive house piece by James Caswell was released a few months ago – this guy just leased the soul and knows how to add disco and house to the game as well. In addition to our in-house art expert Deviant Groove, we are very excited about the British duo Dusky. For three years now they caused quite a stir in the house scene with soft vocal samples, chords á la Larry Hears and – if necessary - strong bass. Tonight they play an extended closing set on our Boiler. Dance as long as you can!
After his impressive and direct live set he performed due to his last EP “Up/Acid Bath”, we look forward to a classic DJ set by Benjamin Damage again. The Welshman is not only part of Modeselektor’s 50Weapons crew, he is also known for mixing up several styles to one floating groove. He’s not a shy guy, so just ask him if there will be a new record in the future, maybe with his partner Doc Daneeka. “Lichtbedingt” is the latest album from Mike Dehnert. Since more than seven years, the founder of Fachwerk knows how to tell his dub-interested techno stories. The Bunker is nothing but a second living room to our resident Andrejko. He embodies the young and new generation and with his closing sets he became one strong techno voice from STATTBAD. It's all about the vibe, the energy, the feeling.
