DJ KEEN ONE is versatility manifest. With an intuitive ear and more than 13 years experience, his passion for music spans genre and style.

Born in Laos to Chinese parents and transplanted to the American South at an early age, DJ Keen One spent his formative years in Nashville TN and Atlanta GA. He grew up under the counter-cultural wing of hip hop, skateboarding and graffiti – a skill set which lead him to travel the world representing national brands. Whether trekking to Vancouver, Canada with the Alphanumeric skateboard team to compete in the internationally famed Slam City Jam, or co-headlining the inaugural Nissan Electric Motor U.S. Tour with Def Jam Poet Bridget Grey. DJ Keen One’s global-trotting adventures also include his annual’s Dj Keen One Summer Euro Tour, touring through Germany, UK, Spain, France, Denmark and Sweden. And as of 2016, DJ KEEN ONE ASIA TOUR will be every year. 

Dj Keen One’s love affair with music has fueled a range of DJ opportunities, such as opening up for Ludacris at the University of Miami 2011 Homecoming, opening up for Dinosaur Jr. at the Skatepark of Tampa 14th Anniversary, and opening up for The Roots and Janelle Monae at the Giant Step’s 2009 New Year’s Eve Party. Now based in Miami, DJ Keen One is often called upon to open for headlining artists such as N.E.R.D, Raekwon, Rick Ross, Lauryn Hill, Slick Rick, Clipse, Brand Nubian, Camp Lo, The Pharcyde, Fishbone and Mos Def. When Dj Keen One is back home in Miami, he holds many residencies which include Soho Beach House, Coyo, Bardot, Lifted at Blackbird Ordinary, Backyard Boogie at Wood Tavern, and one of the founder and promoter of a weekly hip hop party that succeeded for over 8yrs in South Beach, TAKEOUT TUESDAY.
Central to the growth of Dj Keen One’s popularity is his uncanny ability to keep the dance floor moving with eclectic mixes of hip-hop, r&b, funk, soul, reggae, dancehall, disco and 80's like no other. As his moniker suggests, he is destined to be a legendary DJ. Keen One’s young spirit and industry experience are consistently shaping his creative approach as a whole, allowing him to uniquely tailor his repertoire to every party, audience and the world stage.
