We are happy to connect two amazing bands on our stage - the incredible groove nomads GONSOFUS and a gentle globetrotter JORGE.
GONSOFUS is a Russian/Hungarian duo. Using over 10 instruments and live-looping, multi-instrumentalists Sasha Mamaev and Gábor Tokár create a powerful sound they call transcontinental groove. A tight rhythm section, guitar, tasteful horns, and a unique vocal presence, all colored by a hefty dose of carefully crafted electronics — this is the Gonsofus sound created live by Mamaev and Tokár.
Gonsofus has spent the last 4 years touring Europe and the United States, with more than 350 concerts in 17 countries.
Jorge´s music is constantly being shaped by his travels, people around him and personal experiences. After living in Iceland for a while he found in Berlin a place to call home. He is characterized by his emotional way of singing and lap guitar technique.
