Patterns of Perception
Tectonic plates shift beneath the earth’s outer core. Massive layers of solid rock drift and groan endlessly over a scorching sea of magma, forming patterns of earth, like crests of ice on the surface of a burning lake.
Where plates meet, rock and rock collide. Occasionally, fissures form: direct portals into the blazing ocean of molten metal that gave us life; a glimpse into the fiery depths.
