DJ Whity started his DJ career in 1996. That was when he discovered the black gold on the turntables of discotheques in Lübeck and immediately plunged into the vinyl buying frenzy. He invests the monthly apprenticeship money directly in the press center or Kingsize Records Lübeck for new house records from then mainly Peppermint Jam Records, Playhouse, Roulé or Strictly Rhythm.

He was and is a huge fan of Daft Punk, Ian Pooley, Mousse T., George Morel and Masters At Work.

After his first gigs on the newcomer floor at the Alpha Rave in Lübeck, a couple of Schwedter temporary clubs in old furniture stores like Trio29 or Orange Club finally went to Berlin in 2007.

Here he was resident in Solar for 4 years and since 2014 he can also be found regularly in Süsswargestern (Friedrichshain) and Zumiroderzudir in Przlberg.
