Danube Festival 2024

The Danube Festival will once again delight music lovers from July 5 to 8, 2024. This year's edition promises a weekend full of musical experiences and cultural exchange. With 60 artists and over 55 hours of non-stop music, the festival will take place on an area of 2,000 square meters and several floors, offering all participants a diverse atmosphere. Music will be played outdoors during the day and indoors at night.

This year's festival line-up includes many local and international artists such as Binh, Mari.te, Desyn, Edward, Vera and Anthea. There are also special B2Bs like Raresh, who plays with Sonja Moonear, Doudou MD, who shares the decks with Magda, or Franziska Bern's B2B Markus Sommer.

Slapfunk and Yoyaku, known for their first-class events and label nights, are joining forces to create the festival's second stage and bring international flair from Amsterdam and Paris. Half Baked from London, known and celebrated for its carefully curated line-ups, is joining forces with Resolute from Brooklyn and will provide an unparalleled music experience.

Danube's goal is to create a space where people from all over the world can come together, share moments and connect through music. The festival wants to give something back to the culture that makes cities like Berlin interesting and unique. There

will also feature a chillout and downtempo area, a food court and various light and art installations.

Last year, Danube Festival proudly hosted the ‘Rhythms of Revolution’ exhibition, which explored the institutions and influential figures behind techno and house music. The exhibition explored the extensive history and cultural significance, painting a vivid picture of the movements that shape the electronic music landscape. This year, the open call for artists who would like to contribute to the exhibition is being expanded. The festival is inspired by the Danube River, which is known for flowing through more countries than any other river on our planet. As a symbol of cultural exchange, international connections and living together in diversity, the Danube serves as a metaphor for the main aspect of the festival.
