Do you remember that one weird folklore record that you found somewhere while traveling at a flea market? Now imagine what is still missing from this sound: psychedelic synthesizers, surf guitars, downtempo beats and a lot of space delay!
Takeshi's Cashew are a newly founded psych-funk band from Vienna / Halle (Saale), whose debut album "Humans In A Pool" was released in June 2021 by Laut & Luise. The six members combine genres such as cumbia, disco, funk & krautrock and explore their limits with mind-expanding energy. Where do you go when you merge club sound with world music and 70's psychedelia? Have a good trip!
