Since his entry on the scene as a producer in 2006, British born Inland aka Ed Davenport has forged a name for himself as a distinct and independent voice in modern electronic music. Ed is well known for his busy release schedule and a hard-working production ethic that continues to raise his profile on the global electronic scene. His reputation as a DJ has also put him behind the decks in the top clubs of the German capitol. Ed Davenport released his debut LP, 'Counterchange' through NRK and expect to hear a lot more from this solid electronic chameleon.Fachwerk Records is the label run by our distinguished resident Mike Dehnert, that has become an unparalleled international success story. Founded in 2007, the label quickly developed itself, putting a solid stamp of quality for its modern, forceful techno from Berlin. Dehnert himself has announced that he wants to release his seventh studio album titled "Fachwerk 25", and stands as an excellent example of the new blood in techno music with his seamless and powerful sets. Also gracing the Tresor Floor decks is REKA a.k.a Rebeca leChic: taking the alias from the Madrid Club, she was soon discovered by DJ Hell and within time, REKA released her first mix CD on Gigolo Records. She is influenced by italodisco, technopop, ebm, acidhouse, newbeat, punk, rock, numetal, old-school and true-electro, IDM, and of course techno and its endless variations; soft, minimalistic, dubby or harder and darker. As Reka she tends towards experimental/darker sounds showing a more personal vision of music either through IDM, tru-electro, dubstep or dark techno. Complimenting this basement Tuna Park line-up is frequent basement guest on N.E.X.T. and new faces nights Manuel Münster. Upstairs in the +4Bar a special treat: Patrick Scott aka Scott Grooves forged a friendship with Kevin Saunderson, which lead to Scott tinkling the keyboards for Inner City. After hearing a Soma (Funk D'Void) record in a Detroit record store Scott Grooves sent a demo of his album to the Soma office. Scott made his debut on Soma with the sublime "A New Day" (Soma 58). With heart-stopping chords and stunning stuttering breakbeats, the first mix takes you on a wonderful ten minute ride through rhythm and melody, Detroit stylee! Run - don't walk - to our house tonight for this cool occasion. Also affording house music expertise to this Friday's Tuna Park: resident Schoppen Wittes.
