There are mystical holes in the ground that characterize the Sardinian landscape. Grottoes that open up an underground world and are populated by supernatural beings. The "Janas" only come out of their hiding places at night and do mischief in the dark. Modern anthropologists have for the first time demonstrated a significant similarity to other recently discovered (09/24/2015) beings. These are the no less fabulous specimens from the Saterzametarians. They, too, have the custom to wreak havoc in dark places and underground houses during the cold months. The scientists also found out that they are drawn to Sardinia at the end of summer, which suggests a connection to the “Janas”.
