When Jakob and Gesine met, they already knew about their mutual love for electronic music and that only a few weeks later it would become a DJ partnership, but nobody could have guessed.

Gesine Kühne is a journalist who is passionate about reporting on techno and the scene, and that for almost 20 years, which finally earned her the place in front of the Telekom-Electronic-Beats-Podcast-Micro. She researches her music eagerly, and puts it on emotionally. It can be melancholic, melodic too, but please not too cheesy and, above all, always with a beat.

Jakob Mandler came to techno as a fan. He spent many hours in dark clubs to consume the hard, industrial rumble. But just dancing was soon no longer enough for the student. He also wanted to create the moments that he experienced in the club, first for his friends, then small gigs quickly followed. With tireless energy, he improves his technique on the turntables every day, and also listens to music for hours to know just as much as the old hands.

Two nerds who found each other. They go as well together as gin and tonic and therefore present their favorite tracks twice a month in the House of Gin.
