In May 2018 we started our bi-monthly Thursday party at Griessmuehle. Now, one year later we invited one of our favorite DJ and producer for our little birthday. Known for his enthusiastic, happy-go-lucky approach to DJing, Job Sifre has earned a reputation for making parties move to music that borders on the serious and challenging.
He’s already built up a cult following worldwide thanks to hosting a fortnightly show on Red Light Radio. Titled Antikunst, it offers a dystopian trawl through the worlds of new wave, electro, skewed synth-pop, EBM, industrial, experimental electronica and woozy downtempo techno.
Sifre made his production debut on Interstellar Funk’s Artificial Dance label in the autumn of 2017 with an impressive EP entitled Worries. It’s nothing less than a six-track distillation of Sifre’s many and varied influences, re-shaped and re-packaged in his own distinctive style. 2018 followed the second release on the Amsterdam based label Knekelhuis, which has attracted attention in the last few years with its versatile releases.
