After the French-Algerian teenager Elisa Elisa had played classical and jazz piano at the conservatory for 10 years, she discovered the electronic music scene in her hometown of Lyon.
Having a big brother as a DJ gave her a first glimpse of the best insider tips and skills on what a DJ life is like. From hip hop to techno, from vinyl to Ableton.
In 2012 she ended up in one of the most legendary clubs in Berlin, Watergate, to write her master's thesis on electronic music. There she gathered her basics by supporting the organization team.
Don't try to put Elisa Elisa in a box! Their productions and DJ sets are as diverse as their influences: from jazz, French rave, North African roots to German legends.
