Mike Väth, who started club culture in 2010, breathes new life into a good shot of the finest technoid sounds and a mega live act.
As a Frankfurt original, he experiences electronic music and its changes in the scene and has an excellent understanding of what good techno is; also through the connection to his brother Sven Väth (without ever having been in his wake), with whom he preferred to dance in front of the decks in Omen's time.
With René Walliczek and Paul Schulte, he formed 1999-2000 for the first time with a live act: "The Mike Väth Project". It was only after the legendary Omen Club was closed in 1999 that Mike discovered the turntable for himself. After leaving the audience ecstatic and on the verge of exhaustion at the "We are Punks on the Beach" festival, Datapunk label boss Anthony Rother spontaneously offers him a handshake deal.
Now living in Zurich, he is celebrating great success. With his own label "Gon Records / Zurich" a new electronic era was born. Like his driving, unmistakable sound - groovy, minimal, technoid in his style, always adapted to his audience - he can no longer be stopped and as a “club artist behind the decks, still dancing, he can hardly be topped!
Meanwhile resident of the U60311, he brings national and international clubs with hypnotizing digital drums & beats, a constantly unique performance and with his live acts again and again sweaty nights
