When Soft Cell played a spectacular, sold-out show in front of 20,000 fans at the O2 in London in September 2018, the London concert was seen by everyone as the grand finale. Singer Marc Almond and instrumentalist Dave Ball originally went their separate ways in 1984 before reuniting for two years in the early 2000s to record a new album, Cruelty Without Beauty. The intent at the O2 concert was to mark the end of a roller coaster ride that saw Soft Cell secure three top ten albums and six top ten singles, including 1981's all-conquering Tainted Love, while also serving as a role model for synthesizer acts like Pet Shop Boys.
Now Soft Cell are coming again and this time really for the LAST TIME for an exclusive concert in Germany.
There will be no more concerts in the Netherlands.
