After three really extraordinary 180 minutes evenings with Matthew Janson, VRIL. and Out of Place Artefacts, we look forward to the fourth edition of 180 minutes on Thursday 24th August, which is also the first this year and following our major renovation.
The concept of 180 minutes is simple, - admission starts at 7pm and is followed by a one-hour warm-up by up-and-coming artists for top-class headliners who play a live act for 180 minutes. The evening ends with a cool-down set by the support act.
MULTIPLES (HARDWARE LIVE)
Multiples is a live collaboration between two techno heavyweights: Surgeon, who has been playing at the forefront of UK techno since 1994, and Rotterdam native Speedy J, who has been one of the artists since 1991 along with Laurent Garnier, Aphex Twin and Richie Hawtin that defined techno. And what can we expect from these two legends when they share a stage? "No creative restrictions, just pure live improvisation!" To put it in the words of the two DJs and producers.
PHILIPPA PACHO
Philippa Pacho will do the warm-up and cool-down set this evening. Born and raised in Sweden and now living in Berlin, Philippa received a residency at Stockholm club Under Bron in 2012 and has since grown into an impressive DJ, fusing diverse techno currents and definitely bringing a mix of emotions and energies to the dance floor ignite.
