2019 is indeed an important year for the worldwide LGBTI communities, as we celebrate 50 years since the standoff at the Stonewall Bar in New York in June of 1969.
This milestone- happening lead to the induction of an annual „Gay Pride“ parade and its subsequent expansion throughout the world in the years and decades following.
In Berlin, the first CSD (Christopher Street Day, the title for Gay Pride in German speaking countries), began in 1979 and has become a cornerstone of the German gay rights movement.
The GMF event and party brand has been an integral player in Berlin´s Pride story and has hosted the official CSD After-Party for more than 10 years.
In 2019 GMF once again proudly commits to the cause and will participate in Berlin Pride Week festivities, hosting 3 distinct events and one is the GMF Closing Party.
Our GMF CSD closing party takes place on Sunday, July 28th in our usual Sunday night slot in the same venue, club „Ritter Butzke“ in Berlin Kreuzberg (one of the Top 10 Clubs in Berlin).
