This month’s fourth Tuna Park Friday gives it up on the Tresor Floor for a back-to-back Argentinean duet: Jonas Kopp, an accomplished producer, in-demand remixer and versatile performer; he has fast transitioned from Buenos Aires’ best-kept secret to one of contemporary house and techno’s leading lights. At 19 he released his first full-length album and nowadays he convinces clubbers with his driving basement-ready techno, cavernous bass lines and mesmerizing rhythms that flavor his eclectic sets. Returning regularly to Berlin and often thrilling with three-deck sets, he has found time to establish TrautMuzik in 2008 to help raise the profile of the South American electronic scene. Sharing the decks is Pfirter, one of the main icons in South America’s music scene thanks to releases on CLR, Stockholm Ltd, Figure, Synewave, Stroboscopic Artefacts, Apnea and his own music MindTrip Music imprint. The +4Bar welcomes back Berlin house music icon Lamont Booker aka Elbee Bad. As a DJ and MC he´d dazzled crowds around the world mixing and remixing live on his new instruments: 3 turntables, a mixer and a microphone. Backing him tonight is German house DJ Marc Fm on Satisfaction.
