Refresh your soul between forests, sand dunes in the rushing waves of the Bergheider See!

7 years - in 2021 we will meet for the sixth time in the middle of the Niederlausitzer Heidelandschaft to devote ourselves together to contemporary questions, artistic creations, creative exchange and the most diverse facets of music. Due to this anniversary, we will again pull out all the stops and pull aces out of our sleeves to cast you under the spell of ARTLAKE between forests, sand dunes and fresh sea breeze.

Even after six years we are convinced that the connecting energy of the arts and music contributes to a healthy foundation for an open and tolerant society as well as to a more conscious handling of the essential issues of the future. For us, the Artlake Festival is a place of new encounters, challenges and irritations. This also includes a self-image that is not primarily based on the logic of one's own advantage, but rather on the moment of what we have in common. We celebrate, dance, enjoy, discover and learn together.

We want to celebrate the beauty of being together again and at the same time use this space of exuberance and peaceful coexistence to critically reflect on existing conditions, to explore alternative perspectives and paths and to experiment with our own creativity.

You can expect a long weekend filled with countless workshops, performing and visual arts, readings, discourses and lectures, awareness and of course all types of music - from electronic to hand-made, from experimental to well-known, from rave to wave, from near and far.

The Artlake Festival sees itself as an interdisciplinary platform for creative and conscious participation, artistic positions and suggestions for social discourse far removed from well-known institutionalized structures. Everyone can join in, dance along, create, think along, participate in discussions beyond sexual, national or religious identities. Treating each other and our environment with respect is one of the main pillars of the festival.

We are immeasurably looking forward to four days of feast for the ears, eyes and thoughts and a brilliant anniversary with you!
