Since 1997, the most renowned artists and bands in the world, together with thousands of music enthusiasts, have been flocking to the grounds of the Ferropolis industrial museum near the small town of Gräfenhainichen between Berlin and Leipzig to experience the MELT Festival.

In the middle of forests, on the banks of a lake and in the shadow of disused coal excavators, the diversity of music and culture is celebrated together.
