Tony Manero (John Travolta) leaves his monotonous life as a simple salesman in Brooklyn behind him every weekend when he proves his great talent on the dance floors of the discos and fascinates everyone. He made a name for himself as the king of the dance floor in the 2001 Odyssey disco. By participating in a dance competition, he hopes to win the well-endowed first prize and thus the freedom to change his life. The beautiful Stephanie (Karen Lynn Gorney) seems to be a suitable and equal dance partner to him, but she has no interest in Tony ...
Most of the film was shot in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York. The production cost was about $ 3 million. In the first eleven days alone, the film grossed around 11 million US dollars in the United States. Worldwide box office earnings are given as around 235 million US dollars.
John Travolta was nominated for an Oscar in the category "Best Actor" in 1978.

Treat yourself to a little break and relax with lounge music, delicious summer drinks and delicious tarte flambée. We open the roof terrace 2 hours before the start of the film and we are there for you with our after-movie rooftop bar even after the film >

Rooftop Cinema Package for 39 € per person includes:

1 cinema ticket / seat on the roof terrace
(free choice of seat according to distance regulation)

1 drink (soft drinks, glass of wine, glass of Prosecco, beer or a long drink e.g. Aperol Spritz, Gin Tonic)
