The special attraction of the Christmas market at the Rotes Rathaus is the ice rink that is built around the Neptune Fountain. It can be used free of charge and serves as a stage for a winter ice rink show.
Christmas market with old Berlin flair
At the Christmas market between the Marienkirche and the Rotes Rathaus, time is turned back. Large backdrops on the facades bring 19th century Berlin to life. Traditional artisans craft jewelry, leather products, glass and woodwork, and more on site.
A lot to discover for children's eyes
The Christmas market at the Rotes Rathaus has one or two surprises in store for children. Santa Claus travels through the air with his sleigh three times a day (4.30 p.m., 6.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m.). Historic carousels and rides not only exude a nostalgic charm, but also promise exciting experiences for the little ones.
Admire Berlin from above from heated gondolas
Another highlight of the Christmas market is the Ferris wheel. From a height of 50 meters, visitors from closed gondolas can see Potsdamer Platz, the Brandenburg Gate and the radio tower. In the VIP gondolas there is also champagne and canapes.
