2020 is a year that MICHAEL SCHULTE will remember for a long time: For the first time in his life he received a gold award for the single
in his home country “Back To The Start” was awarded and for the first time in Corona summer 2020 he played several drive-in concerts in front of hundreds of honking vehicles. Released in 2019, the title of his current album "highs & lows" could not fit better into 2020: It is an album that is bursting with maturity and optimism and with which MICHAEL SCHULTE has set himself the goal of encouraging people. Just as he has always believed in himself, the friend, husband and father wanted to give something positive to his personal environment and his fans with “highs & lows”.

Hearing MICHAEL SCHULTE's music and talking to him about his songs doesn't make a big difference. There is hardly a gap here between musicians and people: It is this extraordinary authenticity for which he is loved not only in Germany - and not just since the 2012 finale of The Voice of Germany or his 4th place in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. MICHAEL SCHULTE was one of the first German musicians on YouTube in 2007 and has since followed his own path - and was rewarded with a public Bambi in 2018. The fact that he cracked # 1 on the Spotify hit list “Top Hits Germany” with the single “Back To The Start”, replacing superstar Ed Sheeran, has just as much to do with excellent songwriting as it does with its persistence.
