Winter world and Christmas market at Potsdamer Platz

Tobogganing at Potsdamer Platz
Unlike traditional Christmas markets, the Winter World at Potsdamer Platz is also sporting. A special highlight is the 12 meter high and 70 meter long winter slide. The toboggan run scores points with its view of the Brandenburg Gate and, with its colorful disco lights, not only makes children's eyes light up. Afterwards, the young and old athletes will be provided with bratwurst, roasted almonds, mulled wine, crepes and the like at various stands.

Glühwein and handicrafts at Potsdamer Platz
If you don't like it that sporty but want it to be more comfortable, go under the illuminated lime trees on Alte Potsdamer Straße. From the end of November, a craft market and numerous stands with Christmas snacks await visitors. Last-minute Christmas shoppers can look forward to handmade gifts, Christmas decorations and children's toys. Special highlights are the large Erzgebirge pyramid and the curling rink.

Opening times: Winter World: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., December 24th until 2 p.m., closed on November 19th (Remembrance Day) and November 26th (Sunday of the Dead)
Christmas market: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., December 24th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
