Donauinselfest is a cross-genre festival that will take place from June 21st, 2024 to June 23rd, 2024 in Vienna (AT). The festival has a capacity of approximately 250,000 spectators. Entry is FREE!

No artists have yet been announced for the Donauinselfest 2024. RAF Camora, Royal Republic, The BossHoss and many more were booked for the last edition.

Danube Island Festival took place for the first time in 1984. In recent years, among others, have been Alice Merton, Anastacia, Antilopen Gang, Bob Geldof, Cro, Die Happy, Dinosaur Jr., Europe, Fettes Brot, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Hurts, Jan Delay, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Macy Gray, Mando Diao , Nico Santos, Portugal.The Man, RAF Camora, Royal Republic, Sean Paul and many more booked. The largest open-air festival in Europe with free entry for everyone is also the largest stage for functioning coexistence in Vienna. In addition to a varied music line-up with more than 200 national and international acts and 600 hours of program with sports, action and fun highlights, the Donauinselfest has always stood for social cohesion, an affordable and modern Vienna and respectful interaction with one another.

The festival is known almost everywhere in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. Around three quarters of those surveyed have already visited it before and around two thirds are open to visiting again this year. For 79 percent it has cult status!

A festival area that is reminiscent of a hike in its vastness. A number of stages that are unparalleled in Europe. A program as colorful as Vienna and life itself. An offer – free and accessible to everyone. A festival as peaceful as hardly any other. The Danube Island Festival is once again offering an entertaining trip this year. Concerts, cabaret, sporting attractions, culinary delicacies, special program for children and information about the world of work and politics. For three days, a unique program can be enjoyed by all Viennese and visitors from all over the world. Unique especially because it can be experienced for free. It is also unique because the visitors celebrate in a variety that adds up to a very special whole.

The festival has been held annually since 1984 over a weekend towards the end of June. One of the best parties in the world. Admission is free!

After the 39th edition of the Danube Island Festival, a very special year awaits us in 2023: The Danube Island Festival will be 40 and that deserves to be celebrated. The Danube Island Festival is back and we couldn't have wished for a better festival! We're celebrating our anniversary next year and this much can already be revealed: Anyone who thinks they've already seen everything on the Danube Island will be surprised.
