Europe's largest pyramid of the Ore Mountains will then find its way into the Christmas market at Alexanderplatz. It outshines the festive hustle and bustle in the colorful winter and Christmas world with over 5,000 lights.
On the ground floor of the huge Christmas pyramid, visitors enjoy mulled wine or an original Thuringian bratwurst, while the "Pyramiden Treff" on the first floor offers a wonderful panoramic view of the fairground. One floor up, tower blowers create a Christmas atmosphere on the weekends. Up high, the figures of the Erzgebirge pyramid tirelessly make their rounds.
On the ice rink, young and old can do their laps to lively music. For an after-work event, colleagues or friends meet at the curling rink and demonstrate their skills. As a further attraction, the Christmas market at Alexanderplatz offers the Nikolaus party house, an event location with club character that invites you to celebrate and have fun in the hut.
Market stalls with gift ideas and culinary specialties
Gift ideas from beautiful candles to warm hats, food and drinks are sold at more than 100 huts. Classical handicrafts such as potters, blacksmiths and glassblowers can also be seen at the Christmas market.
