Almost 20 years ago, the non-profit organization SAGE Hospital, with the help of countless party-loving supporters, was able to transform a small hospital in a small town in Senegal into a polyclinic.

It was an amazing experience for everyone that, despite language barriers, cultural differences and the unknown structures of a complicated health system, hand-drawn construction plans can transform a run-down health station into a new, functioning hospital with its own solar system. Since opening in 2018, we have been constantly working on expanding the range of medical services.

For this purpose, the existing stations of the dentist and ophthalmologist are to be further expanded and expanded by a dental laboratory.
Another major concern of the SAGE Hospital is the early construction of a gynecological station with an associated pediatrician. In addition to the ongoing structuring projects, an equally important part of the support work is covering the treatment costs for special cases.
