We are turning our anniversary into a whole anniversary week! It starts on Wednesday with a concert by the Berlin disco punk band B6BBO.
What should you do if you missed the 80s, were too young for the techno clubs of the 90s and are already too old for viral TikTok hits?
B6BBO answer this question by embracing the world while never taking it too seriously. With their music, they write the soundtrack of an elusive generation that doesn't really come from anywhere in terms of pop culture, but feels at home everywhere. The only constant: intoxication, ecstasy and tears.

With their third album, the 6-strong formation from Berlin rips off the slapstick masks of self-designed genres like power polka, only to find the same Hallodris behind them, who are rounder and older, but not smarter. And continue to raise gut decisions to the maxim of life.

Pavelo Promillo & Boris Schnell want to bring dirt into pop music. Rough drums, modular synthesizers and guitar sounds from the 80s form the instrumental framework. The singing stands in contrast to this: a clear voice tells of inner conflicts, addiction and fragile masculinity. This resulted in a 13-song album that moves fluidly between the genres of new wave, electronica and hip-hop and can be played on the radio as well as on the dance floor.

If this doesn't turn out to be a round evening, then we don't know what will happen...
