On February 14, 2025, Blendend will celebrate the release of their album “Keine neuen Lieder” (VInyl/digital, moanin’) with a lavish record release happening in the Grüner Salon of the Volksbühne.
The Berliners from Blendend are electro in the head with skills for funk and a will for drum and bass in order to ignore the charts and storm stages. Warriors of faith - all or nothing.
They make handmade club sounds with a penchant for house. In his lyrics, singer Wilhelm Friedrich von und zu Hohen Neukölln talks about everyday madness - in German.
The evening in the Green Salon is opened by the world champion in beatboxing Mando Beatbox. He creates incredible sounds and well-known songs using only his mouth. The interactive exchange with the audience results in a rousing beatbox show.
Dana Schmidt has been working as a dancer in various off-scene ensembles for many years. She repeatedly used oversized animal masks that she had created herself, which focus the expressions on body language and combine them with a sometimes grotesque detachment of the motionless animal faces.
At the after-show party, DJ Pinky plays electronic dance music between techno and house.
