We, the collective Berlin Reggae United, are happy to be able to organize 4 live concerts this autumn / winter. With the beginning of the corona pandemic, we formed a collective and since then have regularly offered live streams and open airs on Fridays. Now the next round is going on and we are really looking forward to finally being able to host live concerts again. The following shows await you:
Mal Élevé
In spring 2020 Mal Élevé will release his first solo album "Résistance mondiale". No question about it: the new songs have to be on stage. Because what better way to call the ex-front singer of Irie Révoltés to call for "global resistance" than with the microphone in hand and the clenched fist in the air? Anyone who has already been able to experience the political musician and activist live in action knows: Mal Élevé gives everything on stage - and definitely no rest until the hall shakes and sweat drips from the ceiling. His shows create a unique sense of community that can literally be grasped. "For me, Resistance mondiale also means global solidarity," says Mal Élevé, "because we can only change something if we stick together." His own mix of dancehall, reggae, ska, punk and rap is a challenge. Without any ifs or buts, his mostly French and German lyrics call for global protest against the untenable grievances that too many people suffer from. "I fight for a world without borders, without racism and without exploitation," explains Mal Élevé, what drives him. After playing over 500 concerts in more than 25 countries with his former band Irie Révoltés and turning the biggest festivals upside down, he is now embarking on his first solo tour - determined to start the "Résistance mondiale". < / p>
