After a booming night at the beginning of the year, Force Field is now finally back at Paloma. This time we have invited prime selector Gramrcy to share the booth with us, and rest assure he’ll be turning the heat way up.
Gramrcy’s idiosyncratic sound is diversely mutating yet always joyful, forward-facing but with one foot in UK bass rave history and the other dancing all over the map. This unique style has brought bliss to dancefloors around the world, and led to mixes for Boiler Room, Crack Magazine, NTS and Rinse FM to name but a few. As one of the planners behind Bristol/Berlin party series Housework, Gramrcy also translates his sophisticated taste into curating. His curating skills also extends into Peach Discs, a label he recently started co-running (alongside its founder Shanti Celeste). After a string of his own productions on Glass Talk Records, Berceuse Heroique sub-label Ancient Monarchy and Singapore’s Midnight Shift (in collaboration with Hodge), we can only hope his set will deliver some unreleased Gramrcy goodness.
