Kubla Khan 1st Anniversary

Because the earth went threehundredandsixtyfive days around her,
marking the beginning of something we vaguely dreamt of,
earning a well-deserved notch in an imaginary belt.

Kubla Khan writes the last paragraph to its first chapter,
and celebrates one whole year with our friends in that special Chalet!

”Then all the charm
Is broken—all that phantom-world so fair
Vanishes, and a thousand circlets spread,
And each mis-shape the other. Stay awhile,
Poor youth! who scarcely dar'st lift up thine eyes-
The stream will soon renew its smoothness, soon
The visions will return! And lo! he stays,
And soon the fragments dim of lovely forms
Come trembling back, unite, and now once more
The pool becomes a mirror.”

Passage written by Samuel Taylor Coleridge after being unable to finish his poem “Kubla Khan”

When an interrupted dream leaves you with unfinished thoughts,
The source of this anguish comes first to mind.
Whether it’s found or forever gone,
becomes irrelevant even for the quickest recollector.
Then you’re left, with your awakened imagination,
obsessively playing puzzle with broken memories.
And oh the sweet joy of solving that puzzle,
Recovering and revealing of the insight of the dream.

Faced with an undesired awakening,
