Between thought and expression lies a lifetime
At the very instant that KIHIRA NAOKI first played a record in public, in front of a most attentive audience in Kyoto, back in 1987, he realised this was what he had been waiting for.
Situations arise because of the weather
The atmospheric conditions drastically change when KIHIRA NAOKI takes control of a soundsystem. With an astounding sense for the suspense and expectations that any social gathering create and a deep understanding for all kinds of music – and all kinds of love – he's able to flip things around and raise the temperature in a flash.
Put jelly on your shoulder, let us do what you fear most
30 years ago, KIHIRA NAOKI first learned about the magic jell-o that forms when two records blend into each other, inevitably leading him to become part of the first techno wave in Japan. 20 years ago, he started his influential Social Infection event series that's still a mainstay in the Kansai region. 8 years ago, he was the first ever guest DJ at KOOKOO. Now he's back.
I don't know just what it's all about, but put on your red pajamas and find out!
