Grrrlz Power
Grrrlz Power is a Platform based in Humboldthain Club Berlin, made to promote and foster feminine arts, specifically into electronic music environment.
We think that making women focused line-up will motivate other women to be interested in the electronic music scene. We want to help further generations to be more confident in their capacity in this environment also by giving them the chance to get experiments and practices.
Then comes the point where we will find enough gender diversity into this scene to have 100% equality on most events.
Equality is not simply having a special night for female DJs. Clearly, there are way more parties with men-only lineups: it seems that sexism is not an everyday fight for everybody so let’s push the scene in a positive and more balanced direction…
