We’re back again! During our break we didn’t just relax, but especially fine-tune the upcoming program. The kickoff for the new season begins with a bang, with three specialists at hand on the Boiler floor: the British producer Citizen has not only remixed Adele and Beyoncé, the London-based artist already released on the label of legend Kerri Chandler and is known for dropping Phil Collins’ „Sussudio“ during peak time. With his surfboard he will ride the 90s house wave, an era that our next guest Thomas Koch, alias DJ T, knows from personal experience. Koch started DJing in the Frankfurt scene in famous clubs like Music Hall, Dorian Gray and The Box. In 1989 he founded the prestigious Groove magazine and later the label Get Physical Music. Speaking of an all-rounder: after his last contagious pool session in December, we look forward to another set by Sven Weisemann. Whether with modern piano classics, emotional deep house or his dubby excursions – the musical range of this artist seems to have no boundaries.
And of course, techno shouldn’t be missed for our season-opening: Subjected is not only a resident here, the Berlin-based producer found his way over hip-hop and rap into dark bass lines, disturbing soundscapes and morbid grooves. Techno isn’t just a genre for him, but also home and identification at the same time. The foundation of the collective Vault Series, with partners in crime like Sawlin and Moerbeck, channels both his passion for dance floor bombs and a clear auditive concept. Our own offspring Andrejko also pursues a certain plan: hard techno with a lot of British influence and an included sweat guarantee. Pump Up The Jam!
