Destroy All Monsters Labelnight

Destroy All Monsters, left wing, leftfield techno label from Shanghai and Berlin celebrates its current release by MIIIA, the #1 Chinese female techno producer. Her wonderfully titled ‘Mimi’s Wonderland in the Clouds’ EP, is a fair glimpse of her trippy talents. And since releases by Chinese techno artists are still a rarity, we wanted to pay homage to the fact and made a super limited transparent vinyl of 10 copies only. 

Since MIIIA cannot come over for the occasion, we had the luck to be able to present the (in)famous Douglas Greed, one her 2 remixers on this release. His remix turned MIIIA’s lunatic techno into a deeper, almost progressive sound, featuring a bassline that has a certain funk to it and some keys that fill the track with a nervous like beauty. It’s a concise masterpiece of melodic Techno and we are certain he will play a set that will fully live up to this beautiful beast. 

Apart from the Destroy All Monsters label artists, we also have another special guest, Zac Watz from the Twisted Donut posse in Hong Kong, representing underground in an otherwise totally commercially minded city, expect great, sophisticated Techno straight outta non mainland China.
