20 Years Beats In Space w. Tim Sweeney, Powder, Optimo

Tim Sweeney brings Beats in Space to Else on June 30, celebrating the platform’s 20th anniversary. Topping the bill is Powder, one of Japan’s rising talents, after she recently kicked off the Beats In Space mix series with a wildly eclectic submission featuring two originals. Joining her are Twitch and Jonnie Wilkes, better known as Optimo, from Glasgow; and Tornado Wallace, a regular on ESP Institute and Gerd Janson’s Running Back. The rising Australian artist’s warm house and disco cuts are perfectly suited for a summer afternoon by the Spree. Sweeney himself will also perform; and closing out the bill are Sharif Laffrey and our own Alison Swing, a resident of Wilde Renate and Else. It’s sure to be a day and night of wildly diverse, fun-filled music. 

The party starts at 2pm, so head down early.
