YAAM’s main stage, presented with Carhartt, hosts a multitude of voices in hip-hop and bass cultures, from emergent lyricists to iconic underground sonic activists. Contrasting the mainstage’s contrasting beats, entrancing sounds spanning Berlin and Istanbul, via Bucharest, swell and swirl in YAAM’s second room. Phat hip hop sounds from Berlin DJ crew Bass Gang, represented by crew members Minoto, Ostblokkk, Gofi, J.Cloud and Tuan:Anh, take over YAAM’s third floor, pointing to the recent and ongoing diversification of the city’s club sounds.
