Hailing from Jamaica and repping Virginia, MASEGO is a self taught multi-instrumentalist combining ignorance and elegance into his unique blend of Trap House Jazz. Between last year’s ‘Pink Polo EP’ – lauded as ‘booming’ and ‘ethereal’ – and his summer project ‘Loose Thoughts,’ Masego seamlessly laces effervescent scat vocals over danceable beats that swing hips and nod heads.
Breaking boundaries as a live DJ and saxophonist, sliding between a rapper and a singer, Uncle ‘Sego has rocked stages and festivals across North America with some of hip-hop’s brightest stars. With his infectious energy, soulful presence, and a growing slate of funky releases praised by hip-hop gatekeepers Vibe, XXL, Pigeons & Planes, and 2DopeBoyz, Masego’s live show is not one to be missed.
Masego is heading across the pond to BERLIN for the first time to bring the vibes for his German fans.
