Ulf Lindemann alias [dunkelbunt] wurde 1979 in Hamburg geboren, kam zu Beginn des Milleniums zum Studieren und Musizieren nach Österreich, begann 2001 in seinem Wiener Studio elektronische Musik mit „Balkan-, Gypsy- und Swingsounds“ zu fusionieren und prägt mit Zeitgenossen wie Waldeck, Parov Stelar oder Shantel die Musikgenres „Electro Swing“ und „Balkan Beats“.
2011 gründet er das Live Projekt „[dunkelbunt] & The Secret Swing Society“ - schnatternde Trompeten, schnalzende Beats, Gypsy Boogie Woogie und ein babylonisches Sprachgewirr aus aller Welt…

Ulf Lindemann aka [dunkelbunt] was born in Hamburg in 1979. At the beginning of the millennium in his Vienna studio, he began to merge electronic music with Balkan, Gypsy and Swing sounds and along with his contemporaries like Waldeck, Parov Stelar and Shantel who helped popularize the new music genres „Electro Swing“ and „Balkan Beats“.
Since 2011, he also tours the globe with his live project “[dunkelbunt] & The Secret Swing Society” - fluttering trumpets, bouncy beats, Gypsy Boogie Woogie and a babylonian babble from around the world...
