A weekly night of
contemporary and brazilian music, with spices from samba and
bossajazz, passing by latin rythms, improvisational jazz being the
leading concept of the Duo - Piano and Bass, Pedro Carneiro &
Marcelo Conti-, both composers, colleagues since back in Brazil and
finally starting this project on June 2014 in Portugal, now meet in
Berlin for hot, free and a-live spontaneous music, performing all
times composer´s music as well as their own compositions.

Marcelo Conti,
bassist and composer born in Recife, raised in Rio de Janeiro and
currently living in Berlin. Bachelor in Music at Brazilian Music
Conservatorium in Rio, Has studied with masters such as Itibere Zwarg
(Hermeto Pascoal Universal Music) Armando Lobo (aesthetics and
composition), Jose Izquierdo (Cuban and Latin Rythms). In 2014
released his first EP Album "Efemera" (

), Has accomplished concerts and recordings in Brazil, Portugal and
Germany with artists and groups such as Tupiniquim Jazz Orquestra,
OSPA Orchestra with participation of Gilberto Gil, Joao Bosco,
Robertinho Silva, Paulo Jobim, the Cesar Lacerda Band with
participation of Lenine and Marcos Suzano and many other
projects.
Co-Owner of EMPB Recording Studio and Music School in
Rio de Janeiro, Marcelo has given music Workshops for 9 years to his
group of students in Rio de Janeiro and in Kerala-India with the
Tribal Comunity "Bodytree" on

"Pedro
Carneiro Silva, pianist and composer born in Rio de Janeiro and
currently living in Lisbon, Gratuated in Brazilian Music at the
Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, and in 2014
completed the Master´s Degree in Jazz Piano at the Escola Superior
de Música de Lisboa. Pedro took part in the Acuri Group, with which
he developed an authoring work that resulted in the music CD
"Infância", released in 2009. With that group, he held a
season of more than 30 concerts in India and Sri Lanka and earned
awards in festivals and competitions in Brazil. He is currently
working together with Brazilian and European artists, in projects
such as "Fados e outros choros", that mixes Brazilian and
Portuguese music, "Pedro Carneiro Silva Trio" and the
"Trampolim de Oiticica", an innovative proposal of joining
music with other forms
