Love On The Rocks

Of course it's fitting to describe the music of a DJ who grew up in California (and now lives in Berlin) as sun-drenched. In the case of Gene On Earth, however, it's hard to avoid. What he releases on his Limousine Dream label and with his own productions such as the current album 'Time On The Vine' is music that sets the mood for Mediterranean open-air parties, ranging from downtempo, breakbeats, bleepy tech house and piano-loving old school house tracks. With that finely effervescent, fundamentally upbeat sound, it's a natural fit for Love On The Rocks, where today it's joined by host and our resident Paramida, Alex Kassian (the co-host of the LOTR radio show on Refugee Worldwide), and Francesco del Garda there will be a B2B set by Laurine and Cecilio. Both are co-organizers of the Berlin party series and the label of the same name Slow Life, which Resident Advisor describes as one of the most influential labels of this decade.
