"Ouch! C'est le crie d'un robot souffrant d'amour, aua" - almost 40 years after its release, the scream of a lovesick robot still heralds one of the most beautiful dance tracks ever produced. Alexander Robotnick's "Problèmes d'amour" was a godsend in the long history of electronic dance music. With its elastic groove, the pounding bassline and the memorable, longing melody, the track sounded absolutely futuristic and emotionally accessible at the same time. Maybe that's exactly what makes Italo Disco so special, which usually knows how to combine the profound with the prosaic. In addition to Robotnick, our host Franz Scala has invited the artists* Adrian Marth, Hara Katsiki and Nikkatze to this edition of the Italorama Bar, each of whom deal with the rich heritage of this music in their own way and in different ways.
