LUSH
LUSH is the collaborative party series by Monika Martinez and A7A label owner Lawrence Lee. Lawrence, who was born in New York to Brazilian-Korean parents and has lived in Berlin for the past five years, also does a monthly radio show on Rinse France alongside A7A. Invited to LUSH are up-and-coming artists like LUZ1E, who, like himself, confidently navigate between snappy techno, house and futuristic electro tunes. LUZ1E is part of the Berlin collective Femme Bass Mafia, which campaigns for greater diversity and visibility for FLINTA* in nightlife and bookings. Also coming to the Panorama Bar for the first LUSH night will be dynamic duo MDSM, known for their energetic sets, and Canadian Venetta. The latter founded the NuZi collective five years ago with the aim of getting queer women of colour, trans people and indigenous women more involved in the club scene in their hometown of Vancouver.
